Riverfront Nights is Chattanooga’s free summer concert series at Ross’s Landing — a 15-week lineup of Saturday evening shows, produced by Friends of the Festival (the nonprofit behind the historic Riverbend Festival) and sponsored by Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union. Mostly tribute acts, always outdoors, always free. The Canyon at Pond Creek is 1 hour north on the Cumberland Plateau — six glamping domes with private hot tubs on every deck, so you can catch a Saturday show without driving home late.
Basecamp for a summer show weekend
- 1 hour to Ross’s Landing. Direct drive via US-27. Show wraps late, you’re back at basecamp in an hour — not risking a 90-minute drive home tired.
- Free show, quiet basecamp. Riverfront Nights costs nothing to attend. The Canyon gives you a real place to end the day: private hot tub on the deck, real bed, dark-sky quiet.
- Room for the group. Six glamping domes sleeping 4–8 each. Bring the friends who love a tribute-show weekend.
- Plateau days, riverfront nights. Waterfalls and canyon rim by day on 447 acres, downtown Chattanooga music by night. The 1-hour drive is the through-line.
About Riverfront Nights
Riverfront Nights is the current flagship event of Friends of the Festival — the same nonprofit that produced Riverbend Festival for over 40 years. Since Riverbend went on hiatus, Riverfront Nights runs as a free 15-week Saturday concert series through the summer at Ross’s Landing on the Tennessee River waterfront. Programming leans heavily on tribute acts (Beatles, Grateful Dead, Fleetwood Mac, and so on) alongside regional headliners.
