Half Iron / Olympic / Sprint Triathlons (Sat Aug 15) + Half / 10K / 5K Road Runs (Sun Aug 16) · Fall Creek Falls State Park · About 30 minutes from The Canyon
Two race days back-to-back at the same park. Same audience: endurance athletes who need real rest between events. The Canyon at Pond Creek is 30 minutes from Fall Creek Falls — 447 private acres of quiet, private hot tubs on every deck, and a real bed instead of a park cot or tent site.
A basecamp between race days.
Saturday’s triathlon puts your legs and shoulders through the wringer. Sunday’s road run wants them fresh again. That gap between events is where race weekends are won or lost. The Canyon gives you a real recovery window — hot shower, private hot tub, real bed, quiet night — 30 minutes from the start line.
- Rest between race days. After the tri Saturday, a hot shower and a private hot tub on the deck. Real bed, quiet night. Wake up ready for Sunday.
- Central to the race site. 30 minutes to Fall Creek Falls SP. Short pre-dawn haul Saturday, short drive back Sunday afternoon.
- Group-friendly for teams and crews. Six glamping domes, sleeping 4–8 each. Bring the relay team, the family, or the whole training group.
