50K / 100K / 100-Mile Ultra · Fall Creek Falls State Park · About 30 minutes from The Canyon at Pond Creek
Ultra runners don’t do this alone. Crews, pacers, family — everyone spending 8 to 30 hours somewhere near the trail. The park lodge and campground fill up fast. The Canyon at Pond Creek is 30 minutes from the start line, on 447 private acres with real beds and private hot tubs on every deck. Room for the crew, real sleep between splits, and a hot recovery when the finish line clock finally stops.
Basecamp for the ultra weekend
- Real recovery when it’s over. After 50K or 100 miles, you need a real bed and a private hot tub — not a park cot. 30 minutes from the finish line.
- Room for the crew. Six glamping domes sleeping 4–8 each. Bring the crew captain, the pacer, the family, the friends who drove in to cheer.
- Multi-day basecamp. Ultras aren’t one-night events. Arrive Wednesday, dial in gear Thursday, tuck in Friday, run Saturday, recover Sunday. The domes support the whole arc.
- Quiet nights before race day. Dark skies, 447 acres, no highway noise. Sleep hard on the night before.
