Saturday, October 3, 2026 · Baxter County Fairgrounds · Mountain Home, AR · About 20–25 minutes from Falling Stars
The Arkansas Ozarks Outdoor Expo is a one-day gathering of everything that draws people to this corner of the country — fishing gear, hunting gear, kayaks, camping equipment, guide services, seminars, and demos. If you already like the Ozarks, this is where you go to get better at using them. Falling Stars is 20–25 minutes from the fairgrounds — six glamping domes on Bull Shoals Lake, minutes from the boat ramps you’ll be shopping gear for.
Fits the outdoors weekend
- 20 minutes to the Expo. Direct drive to the fairgrounds Saturday. Free Sunday for the lake, the river, or a hike on the plateau.
- Minutes to Bull Shoals ramps. Shop new gear at the Expo, test-drive it on the water Sunday. Bass, striper, walleye, crappie — the lake is right there.
- 25 minutes to the White River. If the trout side of the outdoors weekend interests you, Cotter and the White River tailwater are a short drive west.
- Room for the crew. Six glamping domes sleeping 4–8 each. Come with the fishing buddies or the hunting party.
