Five days of proper county fair — carnival rides, livestock shows, exhibits, competitions, food, and evening entertainment. The Baxter County Fair is the region’s biggest fall community draw, and it runs Tuesday through Saturday at the Mountain Home fairgrounds. Falling Stars is 20–25 minutes away on Bull Shoals Lake. Six glamping domes with private hot tubs on every deck give you a real basecamp for the week and enough space for the whole family.
Basecamp for a fair week
- 20 minutes to Mountain Home. Direct drive to the fairgrounds — go for the day, come back to real quiet, do it again tomorrow.
- Space for the whole family. Six glamping domes sleeping 4–8 each. Bring the kids, the grandparents, the whole extended family for a reunion week.
- Cool off on the lake between fair days. Bull Shoals right at the door. Swim, kayak, or sit on the deck between rides on the midway.

Booking for fair week
Direct-book at Falling Stars. Fair week runs Tuesday through Saturday, so a full stay covers all five days. Weekend nights (Friday/Saturday) fill first — book early. Longer stays get you the lake day between fair evenings.
